Field Service Technician
The Ringwood Company (www.ringwoodstarchmix.com) has been a leading supplier of mixing equipment to the corrugated paper industry since 1963. We design, engineer, manufacture, program and install our machinery throughout North America. As our company expands its products and services, we are searching for additional people to join our team.
We currently have an opening for a Field Service Technician. The position requires that the incumbent will service our equipment at customer sites throughout North America, involving troubleshooting and repair. In addition, manage the installation of projects, working with customers, installation crews, and engineering departments to ensure an efficient installation of equipment.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Strong technical background in industrial equipment
- Strong communication skills with engineers, jobsite installers, and customers
- Dependent of job order, you must be able to work standing, kneeling, and sitting
- Ability to lift and carry 70 pounds. Pull, lift, reach and transport equipment parts and boxes
- Must be able to read, write and understand English
- Must pass the drug and physical screenings
- Driver’s License in good standing (Required)
- Travel: 50%
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or equivalent work experience
