Summer Kids Club Staff

LEAD STAFF - Manage and supervise a group or class of students in a designated age group. Utilize the help of assistants and field trip helpers; lead other staff through daily routines and activities with children; run activities throughout the day so the children feel engaged and occupied; know scheduled events and understand the timeline for both on-site days and field trip days; be in charge in deciding changes in the schedule or on rain days; plan and manage off-site field trip student lists and emergency information; be a key person in communicating with parents and students each day being a consistent role model in one age group. 32-40 hours per week. $16.51-19.26 per hour based on years of working for Kids Club and or experience

ASSISTANT CAREGIVER - Engage and encourage children to play games, participate in activities, provide support, be prepared to take a group when running activities and crafts; communicate regularly with leads about any difficulties, or needs throughout the week; build relationships with the children in your age group; help in getting crafts and activities ready for craft time; take charge of small groups on field trips. 24-40 hours per week $14.54 per hour

FIELD TRIP/ASSISTANT – Help prepare students for field trips. Take charge of a group of students while on the field trip. This means monitoring their behavior, applying sunscreen, supervising while on the field trip, communicating any injuries or behavior issues to the classroom teacher. Will be classroom assistant on Mondays and Fridays to support the classroom when the second lead is off. 24-32 hours per week- $14.54 per hour. If you are hired as a lead FT staff, you will be paid the corresponding rate. If under 16, you will be paid the HS helper rate.

If you are hired as a lead FT staff, you will be paid the corresponding rate. If under 16, you will be paid the HS helper rate.

HIGH SCHOOL HELPER -must be 15 +. Help support classroom staff by helping students transition to breakfast and back, help serve breakfast and or snack and other duties as assigned. Help support teachers providing care on field trip days to students returning from summer school. 10-15+ hours per week $13.65 per hour

Summer Kids Club Program staff employed May 11-August 10, 2026. These dates include May training dates, Training week June 9th-11th and move out day on August 10th.
