Experimental Physicist M.S. or Ph.D.
We are seeking a highly motivated Experimental Physicist with an M.S. or Ph.D. to join our collaborative team at the forefront of atmospheric and optical measurement technology. Candidates with a strong background or degree in electrical engineering or experimental optical physics are highly encouraged to apply. The primary purpose of this position is to support multiple cutting-edge Phase II SBIR projects for the Department of the Air Force (DAF), where you will play a key role in developing next-generation remote sensing and calibration systems. A strong hands-on, experimental background is essential, particularly experience with optics, optical systems, remote sensing, laser physics, system diagnostics and system integration to include control software development. The successful candidate will contribute directly to the entire lifecycle of the technology, from design and development to validation, gaining extensive experience in bringing sophisticated prototypes from concept to field-deployable reality. This role requires leveraging demonstrated expertise in experimental optics and laser systems, combined with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
