The Suffolk County Water Authority is seeking a conscientious college-level student majoring in Finance or Accounting to support the staff within the Finance Department.

Requirements:

  • No prior job experience necessary
  • Coursework in Finance or Accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must be highly organized, responsible, and goal-orientated, with a strong attention to detail
  • Possess excellent communication skills and be motivated to learn
  • Must be a Suffolk County resident and possess a valid driver’s license

This is a paid internship within a range of $17.50-21.50/hr depending on year. Employment will begin in May and continue through mid-August. Work hours are to be determined, with a maximum of 28 hours per week.
