Manager in Training Intern
This position offers a base hourly range of $17.50 - $22.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, plus bonus based on company performance.

OVERVIEW
Develop during a 12-week internship while learning fundamental skills and responsibilities as a Store Team Member and Store Supervisor, required for future management roles. Work collaboratively to support store leadership in daily operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences at Sheetz by providing fast, friendly service, quality products, and maintaining clean, convenient locations. Responsible for engaging customers with hospitality, delegating and following up on employee tasks, and ensuring the highest level of customer service in alignment with Sheetz Corporate Mission.
RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience through driving a customer-first culture through friendly, attentive service
- Support the resolution of customer concerns promptly and professionally by interacting with customers and understanding their needs
- Learn to prioritize and delegate tasks that uphold service standards while having the ability to adapt to changing customer and business needs
- Build leadership and communication skills with a commitment to delivery of TCF and corporate mission
- Learn to provide feedback, direction, and coach team members and utilize internal tools (i.e., Z-Book, EZ Planner) to document and share shift information, under the guidance of store leadership
- Learn Food and Beverage Management practices related to food safety and sanitation requirements by supporting documentation of temperature logs, code checks, and quality control standards
- Observe and assist with food and beverage preparation, production, and presentation while maintaining cleanliness and organization of food service areas in alignment with company standards
- Support in administrative and operational management objectives including but not limited to assisting in completing payroll, scheduling, cash management, incident reporting, and HR documentation, as directed by store management
- Support and participate in planogram compliance, product counts, inventory audits, product recall and in-stock initiatives
- Maintain store appearance standards by learning to evaluate store conditions, supporting employees in appearance and maintenance tasks, and communicating improvement needs
- Participate in talent and team development by supporting recruiting, hiring, and onboarding efforts under the supervision of store management
