Cabin Counselor

Rockmont counselors are mentors, teammates and role models. You’ll spend your days leading activities, teaching skills, playing hard, solving problems, and showing up consistently for the boys in your cabin. One moment you might be coaching a game or paddling a canoe, and the next you’re helping a camper navigate homesickness or celebrating a small personal win. The work is active, relational, and deeply impactful.

We’re looking for people who bring enthusiasm, creativity, patience, and a sense of humor to everything they do. You don’t have to be perfect — you just have to care. If you love being outdoors, investing in kids, working on a close-knit team, and want a summer that matters more than a typical job, you’ll fit right in.

What you’ll do:

Live in a cabin and care for a small group of campers

Lead activities, games, trips, and daily camp life

Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment

Serve as a mentor and positive role model

Collaborate with a supportive staff team

Help build the traditions, fun, and community that make Rockmont special
