Ceramics Director
Camp High Rocks, a private boys camp in Western North Carolina, has a director opening for it’s summer ceramics program. The director should have experience managing a studio and working with clay including: kiln firing (electric), pinch pots, wheels, and glazing. The job places an emphasis on organization, creativity, flexibility, and imagination.

Responsibilities: Ceramics director teaches skills to organized classes or through one-on-one help. They assist campers in creating projects to develop skills, creativity, and just for enjoyment! The director manages a small staff and is responsible for the studio space.
Qualifications: At least 19 years of age or rising college sophomore, with a strong interest in working with children. Preference given to those with prior experience in studio management.
Benefits: From $365-$500/week for the nine week season, depending on experience and qualifications. Includes room, board, and free laundry facilities; staff lounge and wireless internet available; extensive professional discounts; an incredible location with over 1000 acres of wilderness; adjacent to Dupont State Forest, and a 15 minute drive to Pisgah National Forest.
