Summer Internship in Genetic Counseling

The Iowa Institute of Human Genetics (IIHG) offers an internship for individuals interested in a career in genetic counseling. The IIHG Summer Internship Program, intended for undergraduate students and recent college graduates, is an excellent opportunity for individuals to gain hands-on experience working under the direction of genetic counselors at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. The purpose of the internship program is to help individuals gain real world experience to assist in their preparation to become a genetic counselor.
