Fleet Management Fellowship (6 month minimum commitment)
Role Summary:
The Integration team is part of the Innovation and Engineering Center California. Overall the team is responsible for all workshop related Requests, Software releases as well as the fleet management. The Fellow will have the opportunity to have a deeper look into Volkswagen Group’s structure and future of mobility giving a detailed insight into local fleet management.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide support with tracking the IECC fleet vehicles including but not limited to checking in of newly arriving vehicles, ensuring proper registration and insurance as well as phasing out of vehicles
- Provide support with managing/tracking CARB letters and EEO labels for all Engineering vehicles
- Provide support with managing Engineering vehicle DMV topics such as registration payments, violations, license plates, etc.
- Provide support with preparing necessary customs topics and paperwork for import, export and destruction of vehicles
- Provide support with vehicle transport communication/planning
- Provide support with creating Engineering workshop orders as needed to have vehicles checked-in, checked-out, serviced on time, prepared for transport, etc.
- Provide support with creating and updating process descriptions of all fleet admin processes to ensure proper process descriptions and guidelines in Confluence
- Provide support with documentation organization
- Provide support with monthly mileage confirmations and the collection of mileage logs
Skills:
Qualifications, Specialized Skills, Knowledge or Other Requirements:
- Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Motivated team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic

In Belmont, California, the hourly rates for this role are based on level of education:
Undergraduate (Junior or Senior): $35/hour
Graduate (Master’s): $38/hour
PhD: $42/hour
