Intern- Associate QA/Testing Analyst

Role Overview:

We currently have an internship opportunity for a QA/Testing Analyst to join our product development team here at AFS!

 

In this role, you will build and implement manual test case scenarios under direction of more senior staff to ensure quality and functionality of code of applications. This includes testing new functionality or changes introduced to the system, documenting results and forwarding to appropriate staff for review. Research reported issues from both internal and external customers.

Essential Functions:

  • Review of requirements documents
  • Preparation of manual test cases
  • Execution of manual tests
  • Reporting of defects in tools used by AFS
  • Quality assurance testing for deliveries
     

Skill Requirements:

  • Working toward a degree/or computer systems certification
  • Some experience/exposure in manual testing or quality assurance of software is preferred
  • Basic understanding of programming languages and testing tools, good analytical and trouble shooting skills
  • Intermediate to expert level Word and Excel MS Office skills
  • Ability to independently work on assigned tasks
