Patient Experience Liasion
JOB SUMMARY
The primary function of this position is to ensure our patients receive the ultimate patient experience from the appointment request until the day of service and beyond. Respect for privacy and a love of customer service are required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides a welcoming and supportive environment for all people entering assigned areas.
- Administrative tasks, which include data input, emails, and patient chart management
- Assisting with financial concerns
- High volume of calls
- Periodic check-in with the care teams for any updates/information they can share with those waiting.
- Comfort patients by anticipating their anxieties and answering their questions.
- Maintaining the reception area clean and ensuring that all confidential files are accurately stored.
- Coordinate and participate in patient service delivery, including check-in, check-out, and medical records.
- Manages the waiting process, liaising between patients, families, and office staff.
- Help with answering/routing phone calls on the site (skill dependent).
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Administrative support to Physicians, Practice Managers, and Clinical Teams

- Following up on emails
- Patient phone calls
- Medical form applications
- Data Collection
- Inventory Assessment
- Includes, but not limited to:
- Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be detail-oriented and organized, with good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong patient service experience, communication, and relationship-building skills required.
- Must be an enthusiastic, positive, and approachable individual.
- Ability to function independently and as a team player, flexibility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates ability to use PCs, Microsoft Office suite, and general office equipment (i.e., printers, copy machine, multi-line phone, FAX machine, etc.) required.
- Experience using multiple clinical computer systems and applications preferred.
- Knowledge of healthcare operations is preferred.
