About the Role
Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking Occupational Therapists (OTs) to support students within the Corona Norco Unified School District for the full school year. This in‐person role focuses on delivering comprehensive occupational therapy services to elementary‐aged students.
The Occupational Therapist will conduct evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, provide direct treatment, and document services in accordance with professional and district standards. Candidates must have prior school‐based experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services
- Document services in alignment with district requirements and the established plan of care
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and IEP teams
- Maintain compliance with all professional, district, and state standards
Minimum Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in the state of California
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- One (1) year of professional OT experience preferred
- School‐based experience required
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest X‐ray (as applicable)
- Current health certificate as required by contract or state regulation
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
