Accounting and Payroll Generalist

As a result of an internal promotion, The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania is seeking an Accounting and Payroll Generalist. This position will support the general accounting and payroll functions. Candidates will provide assistance to ensure accurate and timely payroll, analyze and reconcile financial activity and assist with month-end and compliance activities for HAP and its subsidiary organizations. This is a hybrid position (2 days a week in the office).

Candidates for consideration must have an associate’s degree in accounting, or a bachelor’s degree preferred. Successful candidates will also have a minimum of two years of experience in accounting, payroll processing or related area required; three to five years preferred.  Candidate will have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, be detail oriented and able to deal effectively with people at all levels.
