Marketing & Community Intern

Legacy Venture Corp is seeking a motivated Marketing & Community Outreach Intern to support outreach and brand awareness efforts for Legacy Advisors, a West Virginia-based financial advisory firm. This is a paid, remote, part-time internship designed for students interested in marketing, communications, or business who want real-world experience in a regulated professional services environment.

Responsibilities include:

Supporting marketing and community outreach initiatives

Using approved messaging to introduce the firm to prospective clients

Coordinating and scheduling introductory informational meetings

Tracking outreach activity and basic engagement metrics

Assisting with digital marketing and social media efforts

Representing the firm professionally in written and verbal communication

Following all compliance and branding guidelines

This role does not include:

Providing investment advice

Discussing specific investments or strategies

Selling financial products

Handling client funds or confidential financial information

All interactions are introductory and informational only.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student

Currently residing in West Virginia

Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, or related field preferred

Strong communication skills

Comfortable working independently in a remote setting

Professional, organized, and reliable

Compensation:

Hourly pay meeting or exceeding applicable minimum wage

Additional performance-based bonuses for completed introductory meetings with qualified prospective clients

Bonuses are based on activity and attendance, not on sales, client conversion, or assets invested

This internship provides hands-on experience with marketing, outreach, and compliance-aware communication in the financial services industry.
