Position Overview
Role: SCADA/Relay Settings Engineer III (Mid-Level, Fully Remote)
Compensation: $110K - $115K + Bonus Potential
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday from home

Core Responsibilities
- Lead development and approval of protective relay settings using SEL relays for transmission, distribution, and generation facilities
- Configure SELogic equations and automation logic using SEL AcSELerator QuickSet
- Engineer SCADA point mapping and communications for SEL relays, Orion devices, RTACs, and gateways
- Perform short-circuit, protection coordination, and arc-flash studies
- Serve as primary technical contact for clients on protection, SCADA, and automation matters
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited)
- EIT designation required (path toward PE licensure)
- Minimum 3 years experience in relay protection and control design for high voltage (12-500 kV) substations
- Strong understanding of utility-level substation project lifecycle
