Campus Head Counselor - Residential Camp
Overview: We are currently accepting applications for a Campus Head Counselor Position for the 2026 season at our overnight summer camp in Northeast Pennsylvania (Pocono Mountains) located just 2½ hours from New York City and Philadelphia.
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Campus Head Counselor to provide leadership and support for our Upper Camp community (ages 12–16) at our sleep away summer camp. This role oversees multiple camper groups, supports and mentors counselors, and partners closely with Group Leaders to help facilitate a structured, positive campus environment.
Responsibilities include guiding counselor performance, supporting camper social-emotional needs, assisting with conflict resolution, maintaining daily structure and expectations, and serving as a consistent leadership presence across campus.
This is a senior leadership position distinct from a general counselor role, focused on staff supervision, adolescent development, and fostering a strong, supportive Upper Camp culture.

Dates: June 12th, 2026 - August 12th, 2026
Salary: Our camps offer a competitive salary based on age and experience. Our staff will receive a salary in addition to travel reimbursement. Room and board are included.
Responsibilities: Oversight of multiple areas, supervision of teams of staff members, support and facilitation of programs and training, evaluation and assessment, and direct service to campers and their staff.
