Customer Event Associate(Slinger)

Join The Peach Truck as a Slinger and play a hands-on role in delivering a fast, friendly, and high-quality customer experience at every stop. Slingers are responsible for setting up and breaking down each location, selling and bagging product, engaging with customers, and keeping operations running smoothly throughout the day.

This is a physically active, customer-facing position that requires energy, reliability, and a positive attitude. You’ll work outdoors, lift and move product throughout your shift, and interact with hundreds of customers per day as part of a close-knit seasonal team.

This seasonal role typically runs from May to September and is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working in a fast-paced environment, and being part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Load, transport, set up and break down each stop, including unloading vehicles and assembling tents, tables, signage, and product (up to 50+ lbs).
• Bag and process customer orders quickly and accurately.
• Greet and assist customers with purchases, answer product questions, and provide conditioning and storage guidance.
• Actively sell and upsell products by helping customers choose quantities, suggesting add-ons, and explaining use cases (sharing, freezing, baking, gifting).
• Actively support customer data collection by ensuring customer profiles include email or phone information and educating customers on preordering and upcoming stops.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout the day.
• Maintain speed, accuracy, and professionalism while working efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Assist with inventory counts and restocking (up to 50+ lbs) as needed.
• Follow company procedures related to safety, operations, and customer experience, along with location host and market rules, vendor guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive rental vehicles as needed
• Reliable transportation, and a smartphone.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and maintain physical stamina across long, consecutive workdays in varying weather conditions.
• Availability to work weekends (Saturday is mandatory).
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow processes in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to take direction from leadership.
• Comfortable using basic technology for transactions, communication, and customer profiles.
