Opportunity: Quality Engineer (Aerospace)
Location: Yakima, WA (Relocation Assistance Available)
Compensation: $70,000 – $78,000 + Profit Sharing & Benefits
I am currently seeking a high-impact Quality Engineer to join a global leader in aerospace manufacturing. For 50 years, this organization has been dedicated to fostering a culture where every employee contributes to long-term success. They are the world’s premier designer of components for virtually all major OEMs and airlines, primarily focusing on commercial aircraft interiors.
This role is based in Yakima, WA, at a 145,000-square-foot facility housing R&D, Engineering, and Production. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates looking to trade city gridlock for 300 days of sunshine and immediate access to the Pacific Northwest’s best rivers and mountains.
Role Impact
As a Quality Engineer, you will act as the "voice of the customer," driving value through:
- Product Realization: Partnering with Manufacturing and Sales to provide input on new part feasibility and risk mitigation (PFMEA).
- Compliance & Improvement: Leading corrective actions and Material Review Board (MRB) activities to ensure 100% conformity.
- Customer Liaison: Reviewing customer requirements and directing production to ensure total satisfaction and technical compliance.

Qualifications
- Education/Experience: 4-year technical degree OR 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in engineering drawing interpretation, MS Office, and ERP/MRP systems.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with AS9100, formal problem-solving (8D, 5-Why), and aerospace standards is highly preferred.
- Work Authorization: Sponsorship is not available. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
