Depending on role and unit, schedules may include 12-hour shifts, day/night rotation, and floating based on patient care needs.
Basic qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- ADN or BSN
- BLS certification
- Some roles may require ACLS
Role Overview
This is a strong opportunity for new nurses who want structured support while building skills in a high-acuity neurological setting. You’ll care for patients with complex conditions such as stroke, brain tumors, epilepsy, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, and spine injuries, while working alongside multidisciplinary teams in a major academic health system.

The new Neurological Institute will include:
- All-private rooms
- Floor-to-ceiling windows
- Video monitoring technology
- Computer touchdown space between every two inpatient rooms
- Lavender rooms for caregiver decompression on inpatient floors
