Position Title: Tennis Instructor
Position Summary:
The Tennis Instructor is responsible for planning and delivering high-quality tennis instruction to beginner or novice students. This role focuses on skill development, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting participation in tennis programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and lead tennis lessons for beginners.
- Teach proper techniques, including strokes, footwork, strategy, and match play
- Assess participant skill levels and tailor instruction accordingly
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all participants
- Provide constructive feedback to help players improve performance
- Set up and maintain courts and equipment before and after sessions
- Enforce facility rules, safety guidelines, and code of conduct
- Maintain attendance records and communicate progress with players or parents (if applicable)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience playing and/or coaching tennis
- Strong knowledge of tennis rules, techniques, and strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with diverse age groups and skill levels
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Certification from a recognized organization (e.g., USPTA or PTR) preferred

Working Conditions:
