» PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT (Week 2-3)
Inspecting & measuring KPIs & analysis of the results
Deliver a series of contractual inspections to collect and evaluate performance indicators as outlined in the client’s scope of services. Determine if the findings are measured against contractual performance measures, general company policy/procedural requirements, or jurisdictional standards and/or specifications. Summarize the results, analyze, and propose adjustments in performance and/or process improvements to the Project Manager, Regional Manager, and/or Business Director.
» CONTRACT MANAGEMENT (Week 4-5)
Contract performance and compliance
Systematically collect data to periodically assess our contract’s performance in predetermined areas of the contract to include administration, safety features, field operations, and compliance indicators per the scope of services and/or expectations of the client. Contract scopes could include the operation and maintenance of roadways, facilities, bridges and ancillary structures, and specific client grading tools. In addition, seek contract intangibles such as health of relationship including the interface with customers and the public, cooperation with the clients’ personnel, quality control and contract compliance, and the effort the client is required to administer the contract.
» PROJECT SUPERVISION (Week 6-12)
Manage a defined work program
Identify a project deliverable and agree with Project Manager including work value. From there, develop and scope a defined work package, procure, plan, and schedule services (inhouse or outsource or combination), ensure compliance with contract deliverables and all necessary standards/specifications as well as internal/external safety requirements, implement QA/QC requirements, and deliver within schedule and budget ensuring stakeholder management and communication is maintained throughout.
