The EdVenture Group is looking for a creative, organized, and motivated college student to join our team as a Social Media and Communications Intern. This role is ideal for a student who wants hands-on experience in nonprofit communications while helping strengthen education and student success across communities.
This internship goes beyond observing. You will contribute real content, support active campaigns, and build skills you can confidently showcase on your resume and portfolio.

What You’ll Do:
Social Media & Digital Storytelling
- Create and schedule engaging content for Facebook and LinkedIn
- Help plan and maintain a content calendar
- Design simple graphics and templates using Canva
- Draft, edit, and polish posts that align with our voice and mission
Website & Written Content
- Assist with light website updates, including event listings and blog posts
- Help draft blogs, short articles, and newsletter content
- Proofread and edit materials for clarity, tone, and accessibility
External Communications
- Contribute ideas for newsletters, announcements, and outreach campaigns
- Assist with drafting and distributing the monthly newsletter
- Support email communications and other digital outreach efforts
What We’re Looking For
- Current undergraduate or graduate student interested in communications, marketing, public relations, education, social work, or community engagement
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with Facebook and LinkedIn
- Experience with Canva or similar design tools
- Interest in nonprofit work, education, or community impact
- WordPress experience is a plus, but not required

- Part-time internship (approximately 10 or more hours per week)
- Fully remote with collaboration via Microsoft
- Occasional in-person check-ins may be available, if applicable
- Reports to Kylee Hassan, Program Coordinator
