Patient Experience & Access Intern at Madrigal Pharmaceuticals

This is a paid summer internship, reserved for PELL GRANTED undergraduate students only, through Project Onramp.  To apply for this role, you must provide proof of pell grant.
 

*LOCATION:
300 5th Ave., Waltham, MA 02451

*Onsite & Hour Expectations:
    Hybrid
    Duration: 11 Week Program
    Up to 40 hours per week – Full Time
    Week 1: Orientation / Team Introduction
    Week 11: Summary Presentations / Review
    Schedule:
       Monday-Friday, up to 40 Hours (Overtime Not Permitted)
       Tuesday – Thursday on-site
       Monday and Friday Remote
 

*PAY RATE: 
$30/hr

*RESPONSIBILITIES:


Internship Overview

The Patient Experience and Access intern will support key initiatives to help MASH patients learn about Madrigal Patient Support resources provided during their therapeutic journey with a focus on education. By supporting administrative projects and strategy discussions the intern will learn how organizations develop support programs for patients.

• Develop presentations for internal meetings
• Help to monitor performance metrics
• Collaborate with key stakeholders within the organization

Required Qualifications
Skills, degree / program, or experience needed to be successful.
Nursing and Health Sciences ***
Business management


Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
Previous healthcare exposure/experience
Comfort working with multi-level leadership
 

Tools, Technologies, or Systems Used 

Data analysis, PowerPoint presentations
Additional Notes /Call notes
The intern will be working with patient information daily. Because of this they will have additional
HIPAA training required at the start of their internship.
