Detailed Description:
This role is part of Brooksource's Elevate Program, working with the banking client, Fifth Third, in Cincinnati. It requires the individual to have the aptitude to learn and participate in sprint planning, scope and requirements, and metric creation and reporting. In addition, this position requires a desire to acquire a solid foundation in Agile delivery methodologies and the ability to adapt that knowledge to meet the needs of each sprint.
To be successful, the candidate must be driven and well-organized, self-motivated and tenacious, thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and complete tasks on agreed-upon schedules. The team will look to this individual not only to serve as a Scrum Master within the agile team but also to provide analysis support to the various pillars within the domain and to understand and evaluate metrics and reporting needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Participate in the grooming and prioritization of the product and sprint backlogs
- Work with the team to develop release and sprint estimates
- Participate in the analysis and review of epics and features
- Elicit, analyze, and translate features into user stories
- Define and document user procedures and workflows, and how each class of user interacts with the solution
- Works with the team to identify acceptance criteria
- Participate in all Agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo/Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement
- Schedule and facilitate meetings
- Develop and update documentation to support new and changed procedures
- Work with the team to respond to and answer questions generated by team members and business partners
- Act as a liaison between business units and the Scrum team
- Participate in release activities as needed
- Works with the team to understand business metrics and reporting needs
- Performs research to gather and analyze data required for reporting
- Create dashboards that tell pertinent stories surrounding CDAO efforts

- Experience with or understanding of Agile and Scrum Frameworks
- Strong research and analytical capabilities
- Proficient in or aptitude to learn and identify downstream implications
- Experience with Microsoft Teams and Excel
