The Newton Community School District is accepting applications for an 8th Grade English Language Arts Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.

Candidates must hold or be in the process of obtaining a current Iowa Teaching License in the following endorsements areas:

  • This position does require one of the following endorsements:
    • 5-8 Middle School Language Arts (1821)
    • 5-12 English Language Arts (120)
    • K-8 English Language Arts (119)
