Marketing Internship
Overview
Clement Industries is seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to support marketing initiatives for Clement Industries and Summit Trailers, two established manufacturers serving the transportation and heavy equipment industries.
This internship is geared toward students with a creative background who want to apply marketing in a hands-on, real-world setting. Rather than focusing on traditional consumer products, this role offers experience marketing heavy equipment through digital content, brand storytelling, dealer engagement, and industry events.
The role provides exposure to both B2B and B2C marketing, supporting brand awareness efforts with our dealer network while also helping communicate directly with end users across digital platforms.
The intern will work directly with the Corporate Marketing team and assist with projects involving digital marketing, website management, content creation, brand awareness initiatives, and trade show preparation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and scheduling social media content across company platforms
- Support development of marketing materials such as brochures, product sheets, ad slicks, and presentations
- Work with engineering and sales teams to organize model specifications and product information for marketing materials and website updates
- Assist with website updates, digital content management, and SEO optimization
- Support brand awareness initiatives aimed at end users through our dealer network
- Conduct market and competitor research within the trailer and transportation industry
- Assist with digital marketing initiatives including website performance tracking and analytics
- Assist with marketing preparation and hands-on booth setup for the Texas Trucking Show, including displays, promotional materials, and event logistics
- Collaborate with internal teams to support ongoing marketing initiatives and campaigns
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
- Strong written communication and organizational skills
- Creative mindset with interest in hands-on marketing work
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Interest in industrial, manufacturing, or equipment-related industries is a plus
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SEO, digital marketing, or website management
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design platforms
- Basic understanding of Google Analytics or social media analytics
- Photography, videography, or content creation experience is a plus
Internship Details
Location: Primary: Onsite - Clement Industries, Minden, Louisiana (~30 min from LaTech) Secondary: Remote - Summit Trailers, LLC, Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania
Duration: May – August (Summer Internship) with the opportunity to extend part-time during the fall semester if agreeable to both parties Schedule: Standard workdays, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to accommodate class schedules or other conflicts Compensation: Paid internship; $20/hr
Travel will be required to assist with marketing and booth setup at the Texas Trucking Show. Travel, lodging, meals, and transportation will be fully covered by the company.
The internship may also include a visit to Summit Trailers, LLC in Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania depending on project needs. Travel expenses would be covered by the company.
