Shift Timings:
• 1st Shift: 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Production Trainer is responsible for delivering on-the-job, skill-based, and classroom training within assembly and production environments. This role supports the development and implementation of training programs, ensures employee competency, and maintains training records while adhering to quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct on-the-job and classroom training for production and assembly teams
• Develop and implement training programs and process improvements
• Maintain training records, certifications, and progress tracking
• Monitor trainee performance and provide constructive feedback
• Demonstrate and train on product assembly techniques and processes
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, quality standards, and company policies
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance training effectiveness
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure process adherence
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Experience in manufacturing/assembly (medical device preferred)
• Strong knowledge of assembly techniques and production processes
• Experience training or leading teams in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to use standard hand tools for bio-instrument/device assembly
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math, grammar, and computer skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Additional Requirements
• Understanding of FDA regulations and quality systems
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Ability to pass reading comprehension assessment
Education
• High School Diploma / GED required
• Associate’s degree or technical training in Electrical/Mechanical field preferred
