The Role
Our partner is seeking a scientifically curious, highly organized Medical Affairs & Medical Information Intern. This internship offers direct exposure to pharmaceutical medical affairs operations, medical information processes, and scientific exchange activities. Working closely with Medical Information and Medical Science Liaison (MSL) leadership, the intern will contribute to projects supporting scientific engagement, clinical literature surveillance, and operational workflows.
Responsibilities

Medical Information Support: Assist in developing and reviewing clinical response documents and FAQs. Support literature searches to ensure medical materials are accurate, fair-balanced, and compliant with regulatory guidelines.

Operations & Congress Support: Support project tracking, maintenance of departmental dashboards, and logistics for internal training programs. Assist with materials organization and post-event documentation for major scientific congresses.

MSL & Scientific Engagement Support: Assist with compiling scientific slide decks and educational resources. Help organize scientific insights, keep trackers on medical metrics, and support cross-functional workflows between Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Field Medical teams.

Literature Surveillance: Conduct literature surveillance across medical databases and summarize clinical data, abstracts, and publications for internal corporate stakeholders.
Qualifications

Education: Currently pursuing a PharmD, nursing, pharmacy, life sciences, biomedical sciences, or a related healthcare/scientific degree. Rising upperclassmen or professional students preferred.

Skills: Excellent ability to analyze, interpret, and summarize scientific/clinical data. Strong time management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Experience: Prior exposure to medical writing, scientific communication, or clinical databases (such as PubMed) is highly advantageous. Experience with CRM or document management systems is a plus.
Requirements: Must be a Pell Grant Recipient for the current academic year.
