Youth Associate Board Member
WHO?
Our Ode To You is a 501(c)(3) youth-led nonprofit at the intersection of the arts, dementia care, and community advocacy. Through volunteer-led workshops in music, art, writing, movement, and creative expression, we aim to increase well-being for seniors living with memory loss while advancing awareness surrounding healthcare, policy advocacy, and the role of music and the arts in dementia care. With 500+ workshops hosted and recognition from organizations including NBC and PBS. Our Ode To You is continuing to expand its national impact through our generation of youth leaders.
WHAT
We are looking to form a highly motivated National Associate Board made up of students and young leaders passionate about creativity, advocacy, healthcare, and social impact. Associate Board members will work directly alongside their peers to help grow the organization on a national scale through chapter expansion, partnership outreach, fundraising initiatives, communications, volunteer engagement, grassroots organizing, and administrative operations. Members will also contribute ideas and strategy to help shape the future growth and direction of the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
We are seeking undergraduate students and young leaders ages 16-25 who are passionate about the arts, healthcare advocacy, dementia care, grassroots organizing, nonprofit leadership, and community impact. This is a leadership opportunity ideal for students interested in medicine, law, music, psychology, public health, communications, nonprofit work, and public policy, though applicants from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Strong communication skills, initiative, creativity, and a genuine passion for service are highly valued.
