About Bump Connect
Bump Connect is building an all-in-one open social super app designed to bring more of your social and digital life into one connected place.
The platform combines social discovery with actionable experiences that allow users to do more without constantly leaving one platform for another. From discovering content and connecting with people to attending events, joining competitions, finding opportunities, and engaging with businesses and creators, Bump is building a more connected social experience.
As Bump Connect continues to grow, we're looking for motivated college students who want hands-on experience in marketing, user acquisition, business development, partnerships, event technology, social media, and startup growth.
About the Internship
The Bump Connect Internship Program gives students the opportunity to gain real-world experience while directly contributing to the growth of an emerging technology platform.
As a Campus Marketing & Growth Intern, you'll work across four primary areas:
User Acquisition, Bump Tix, BVB, and Marketing.
Rather than spending the internship observing from the sidelines, interns are encouraged to take action, test ideas, connect with people, and find creative ways to introduce Bump to their campus and local community.
You'll have flexibility in how you approach many of your activities, allowing you to build experience around your interests, strengths, campus connections, and career goals.
What You'll Work On
User Acquisition
Help introduce the right people to Bump Connect and give them a reason to join.
You may:
Introduce Bump Connect to students, friends, organizations, creators, and other potential users
Promote specific Bump experiences that are relevant to different audiences
Use your personal network, campus connections, social media, and word-of-mouth to generate awareness
Experiment with different outreach strategies and messaging
Help grow platform participation through your individual referral efforts
The goal isn't simply to generate sign-ups — it's to connect potential users with the parts of Bump that are genuinely relevant to them.
Bump Tix
Help grow Bump Tix, Bump Connect's event and ticketing experience.
Interns will focus especially on identifying and connecting with:
Local bars
Venues
Event organizers
Campus event hosts
Student organizations
Businesses that regularly host events
You'll help introduce potential partners to Bump Tix and direct interested businesses and event organizers toward our team for further conversations.
This gives interns hands-on exposure to business development, sales outreach, partnership building, event technology, and lead generation.
BVB
Participate in and help grow BVB, Bump Connect's competition-based experience.
Interns may:
Participate in eligible BVB competitions
Promote active BVB opportunities
Encourage others to participate
Create marketing content around competitions
Help generate awareness and engagement for BVB
This portion of the internship gives students experience with campaign promotion, audience engagement, competition marketing, and user activation.
Marketing
Use creative marketing strategies to build awareness around Bump Connect and its different experiences.
Marketing activities may include:
Creating original social media content
Sharing approved Bump content
Promoting Bump through campus organizations and group chats
Creating or distributing flyers
Conducting in-person outreach
Developing creative campus activations
Promoting BVB competitions or Bump Tix
Connecting with clubs, organizations, creators, businesses, and other potential partners
Testing new marketing ideas and reporting what worked
Interns are encouraged to think creatively and adapt their marketing approach to their campus and community.
Track Your Progress
Interns receive access to an Internship Dashboard where they can track their participation and internship progress.
Throughout the program, interns will complete regular check-ins covering their work across areas such as:
User Acquisition
Bump Tix
BVB
Marketing
Results and proof of completed activities
What worked and what didn't
Goals and next steps
The internship is designed to encourage experimentation, reflection, and measurable growth throughout the program.

You'll have the opportunity to experiment with marketing strategies, build relationships, approach real businesses, promote an emerging technology platform, help acquire users, and see how your individual efforts contribute to a growing startup.
