Overview:

ULimo is seeking a driven and technically-minded App Developer Intern to help build and improve the technology that powers our ride-sharing platform. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience working on real-world transportation and marketplace challenges, including driver dispatching, ride matching, route optimization, and system automation. You will work alongside leadership and development teams to explore how modern ride-share platforms operate and help create scalable solutions that connect riders with luxury buses and limousines. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in software development, transportation technology, logistics, and startup innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Gain a deeper understanding of the ride-share technology industry and marketplace platforms.
  • Help design and develop systems that automatically direct drivers to pick up users requesting rides through the ULimo app.
  • Assist in building or integrating real-time ride batching and matching technology to optimize vehicle utilization.
  • Research routing, dispatching, and transportation management solutions.
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve the efficiency and scalability of ULimo's platform.
  • Contribute to testing, troubleshooting, and improving user and driver experiences.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.

Excellent written and verbal communication

Previous experience with ride-share technology, transportation software, mapping systems, dispatching systems, or related projects is desired.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
