About the Position:

Under the general direction of the BIM4I Delivery & Guidance Manager, a Supervising Transportation Engineer, the BIM4I Delivery & Guidance Engineer is responsible for coordinating and developing policies, procedures, guidance, training, and documentation to implement the Building Information Modeling for Infrastructure (BIM4I) initiative in Caltrans; monitoring BIM4I budget and contracts; tracking performance objectives and efficiencies. In cooperation with Headquarter (HQ) and District functional units, the incumbent is expected to recommend technical, engineering decisions in pursuing a course of action that will most effectively and efficiently serve Departmental and Division goals and objectives
