Role Overview We're seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Intern to support the financial operations of Connex AI. You'll assist in managing our dual accounting system where payments from healthcare facilities are split between platform revenue and payouts to professionals. Ideal for students interested in startup finance, fintech, SaaS accounting, and marketplace payment systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile dual-account payment flows between facilities and healthcare professionals (Financial Analysis)
- Maintain records of payments and payouts; verify payment accuracy (Payment & Payout Management)
- Monitor platforms such as Stripe, ACH transfers, or similar systems (Payment & Payout Management)
- Maintain accounting records in QuickBooks or other financial tools (Accounting & Bookkeeping)
- Record transactions, categorize expenses, and reconcile accounts (Accounting & Bookkeeping)
- Prepare monthly financial summaries, cash flow reports, and revenue tracking (Financial Analysis)
- Maintain documentation for audits and tax filing (Compliance & Documentation)
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Bonus: QuickBooks, Stripe, or SaaS/marketplace experience
