Medical Internship in Vietnam, Nepal, or Cambodia
Program Overview
The Medical Internship Program provides students and recent graduates with the opportunity to gain exposure to healthcare systems in Vietnam, Nepal, or Cambodia through supervised clinical observerships and healthcare-related activities.
Participants will observe medical professionals, learn about healthcare delivery in low- and middle-income countries, and gain valuable insight into global health challenges. Placements may take place in hospitals, clinics, community health centers, rehabilitation facilities, or public health projects depending on location and availability.
This is an unpaid internship with a minimum commitment of four weeks. The program is designed to complement academic studies and provide meaningful international healthcare exposure.

Minimum Requirements

- Be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in:

- Possess a good level of spoken and written English
- Demonstrate professionalism and a commitment to ethical conduct
- Be able to comply with local healthcare facility policies
- Commit to a minimum placement duration of 4 weeks
Certain placements may require proof of immunizations, health insurance, criminal background checks, or university approval.
Important Scope of Practice
Participants should understand that this internship is primarily an observership and educational experience.
Interns will not independently diagnose, prescribe medication, perform medical procedures, provide direct patient treatment, or undertake activities requiring professional licensure. All activities are conducted under the supervision of qualified healthcare professionals and in accordance with local laws, regulations, and facility policies.
