Board Certified Behavior Analyst
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to join our team for locations in St. Albans, WV. The ideal candidate will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to develop and implement effective behavioral interventions. This role requires a strong understanding of behavioral health principles, patient assessment, and the ability to work collaboratively with families and other professionals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral issues and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques tailored to each client's needs.
- Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to support clients' development and well-being.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavioral strategies and interventions.
- Stay current with developments in the field of behavior analysis and related disciplines.
Experience
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field is required.
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is mandatory.
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices is beneficial.
- Familiarity with behavioral health concepts, patient assessment techniques, and HIPAA compliance is essential.
- Previous experience in implementing behavioral therapy strategies is highly desirable.
