About CampusMesh

CampusMesh (campusmesh.com) is a verified academic community platform connecting students, faculty, and alumni at universities across the U.S. — including NYU, Purdue, Stony Brook, Syracuse, NJIT, and LaGuardia. Think of it as LinkedIn built specifically for campus life: a trusted, .edu-verified space for academic networking, study groups, campus events, peer marketplace, and career opportunities.

We are an NVIDIA Inception Program member, backed by institutional university partnerships, and currently expanding our footprint across 20+ campuses. This is a ground-floor opportunity to work directly with the founding team on live market expansion.

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Go-to-Market Strategy Intern to support CampusMesh's campus expansion and user growth initiatives. This is a structured, deliverables-driven role focused on market research, partnership development, event planning, and growth strategy — ideal for students interested in entrepreneurship, product marketing, or business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis — Research student platform adoption patterns, competitor positioning, and campus community behavior to inform GTM strategy.
  • University Partnership Outreach — Identify and coordinate with student organizations, academic departments, and university offices to facilitate institutional engagement opportunities (tabling, panels, academic events).
  • Event Planning & Execution — Help plan, coordinate, and staff on-campus events such as information sessions, tabling activations, and academic workshops in collaboration with student organizations.
  • User Feedback & Customer Discovery — Conduct structured interviews and surveys with students to generate product insights and surface unmet needs. Document and synthesize findings for the product team.
  • Growth Experiment Design — Develop and test campus-specific user acquisition hypotheses. Track results using performance metrics and iterate on approach.
  • Partnership Proposals — Draft outreach materials and partnership briefs targeting student clubs, consulting groups, and academic departments.
  • GTM Playbook Development — Contribute to building a repeatable campus launch playbook that CampusMesh can deploy across new institutions.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student (any major welcome; Business, Marketing, Communications, or Entrepreneurship preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with an ability to synthesize research into actionable recommendations
  • Organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Genuine interest in EdTech, startups, or community-driven products
  • No prior startup experience required — curiosity and initiative matter most

What You'll Gain

  • Hands-on experience executing a real go-to-market strategy at a funded, live startup
  • Direct mentorship from the Founder & CEO (Columbia M.S. CS, ex-Microsoft, ex-Amazon)
  • A portfolio-ready deliverable: a campus GTM playbook with measurable outcomes
  • Letter of recommendation upon successful completion
  • Potential for continued engagement or a full-time role as the company scales
