We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a leading healthcare technology organization. If you have a strong background in cloud data platforms, data engineering, and modern ETL/ELT solutions, this is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale enterprise healthcare data projects.

Required Experience

12+ years of professional Data Engineering experience

Strong expertise in designing and developing enterprise data solutions

Experience working with large-scale cloud-based data platforms

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines

Develop data solutions using Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric

Write and optimize complex SQL queries

Build scalable data models and data warehouse solutions

Develop data processing solutions using Python or Scala

Collaborate with Data Scientists, Business Analysts, and cross-functional teams

Ensure data quality, governance, and performance optimization

Support reporting and analytics initiatives using Power BI

Maintain technical documentation and data architecture

Required Skills

12+ years of Data Engineering experience

Expert-level SQL

Strong Python or Scala programming

Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or similar cloud technologies

Experience with Azure Data Factory

Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling

Experience with CI/CD, data governance, and performance tuning

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare, RCM, or Claims data experience

Knowledge of HL7 and FHIR standards

HIPAA compliance experience

Experience with dbt

Experience leading enterprise data modernization projects
