  • Systematic trading of equity index options (e.g., SPY, QQQ, IWM), macro ETF options, or fixed income ETF options
  • Research focused on implied versus realized volatility, event volatility, volatility risk premium, or cross-asset relative value
  • Experience developing strategies around macroeconomic events, central bank meetings, earnings seasons, or other scheduled catalysts

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of credit markets and fixed income products
  • Strong understanding of volatility surfaces, term structure, skew, and options market microstructure
  • Experience researching dispersion, correlation, or cross-asset volatility relationships is a plus
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong programming skills in Python; experience with C++, kdb+/q, or similar technologies is a plus
  • Experience conducting rigorous quantitative research using large financial datasets
  • Excellent statistical intuition and ability to develop economically grounded trading signals
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with portfolio managers and engineers
  • Live track record of deploying profitable systematic strategies
  • Experience with large-scale intraday market data and research infrastructure
  • Familiarity with futures, ETFs, options, and OTC credit products
  • Demonstrated research producing Sharpe ratios above 2.0 is highly desirable
  • We are looking for researchers with original ideas, strong scientific rigor, and a demonstrated ability to translate research into live trading performance. Whether your expertise is in systematic credit and Delta One strategies or macro/index volatility research, we are interested in candidates who can develop differentiated sources of alpha and contribute meaningfully to the investment process.
