Fundraising Development Intern

Position Summary

Operation Phoenix Rising is seeking a motivated Fundraising & Development Intern to help expand our mission of serving Veterans and their families. This internship offers hands-on experience in nonprofit development, donor relations, grant research, event planning, and community outreach.

Responsibilities

• Research grant and funding opportunities
• Assist with donor outreach and stewardship
• Help coordinate fundraising campaigns and community events
• Support sponsorship development and corporate partnerships
• Maintain fundraising records and donor communications
• Collaborate with the Executive Director on strategic development initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

• Current student or recent graduate in Nonprofit Management, Business, Communications, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
• Passion for serving Veterans and strengthening communities
