Overview:

ULimo is seeking analytical and innovative Position Development Interns to help shape the future of our growing startup by identifying and developing new roles that support company expansion. Working closely with leadership, interns will research successful transportation, technology, and startup companies to analyze how they structure their teams and identify positions that could help ULimo grow more efficiently.

This internship provides hands-on experience in organizational strategy, workforce planning, business research, and startup operations. Interns will evaluate industry trends, recommend new positions, and help design job descriptions that strengthen ULimo's ability to scale as an innovative transportation platform.

This role is ideal for students interested in Human Resources, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Organizational Leadership, Operations, Research, Strategy, and Management Information Systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Research organizational structures and hiring practices used by successful transportation, technology, and startup companies.
  • Identify workforce gaps and recommend new positions that support ULimo's growth and long-term strategy.
  • Develop job overviews, responsibilities, qualifications, and internship descriptions for proposed positions.
  • Analyze industry trends to identify emerging roles and organizational best practices.
  • Present research findings and position recommendations to leadership.
  • Collaborate with departments to understand operational needs and future hiring priorities.
  • Evaluate how new positions align with ULimo's business objectives and growth plans.
  • Maintain documentation of research, recommendations, and organizational development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Human Resources, Management, Entrepreneurship, Organizational Leadership, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to evaluate information and make strategic recommendations.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaborating in a startup environment.
  • Interest in startups, business strategy, organizational growth, or workforce planning.
  • Experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office is preferred but not required.
