Overview:

This New Jersey farm is a side project that we are working on, allowing interns to contribute to the development and growth of a real agricultural business. ULimo is seeking analytical and business-minded Agribusiness Interns to support projects involving farm management, agricultural finance, crop marketing, supply chain operations, and business strategy. Interns will help evaluate opportunities that improve profitability while supporting sustainable agricultural growth.

This internship provides hands-on experience with the business side of agriculture through financial analysis, operational planning, market research, and strategic decision-making. Interns will gain valuable insight into how successful agricultural businesses balance production, logistics, and economics.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with farm business planning and strategy.
  • Research agricultural markets and industry trends.
  • Support budgeting and financial analysis projects.
  • Analyze crop pricing and profitability.
  • Assist with supply chain and logistics planning.
  • Research agricultural marketing strategies.
  • Prepare business reports and presentations.
  • Support operational improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate on projects that improve farm profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Agribusiness, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Interest in agricultural business operations and farm management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
