DevOps & Full-Stack Intern
DevOps & Full-Stack Intern (Document Compiler & Typesetting)
The AI Publisher Platform implements a highly scalable, decoupled Layered Microservices Architecture designed to unify autonomous asset generation, complex cross-lingual processing, and state-heavy real-time human-in-the-loop workflows. This structural decoupling ensures that data-heavy generative pipelines operate independently of the client-facing interfaces, guaranteeing platform high-availability and extreme sub-second UI responsiveness.
Role Objective
Construct and secure the final-mile compilation engine responsible for programmatically transforming multi-chapter raw data nodes into flawless, beautifully typeset, market-ready EPUB and PDF distribution artifacts.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect automated multi-pass document rendering pipelines using tools like WeasyPrint, Puppeteer, or Pandoc.
- Write robust layout CSS rules enforcing strict print rules, including dynamic Tables of Contents, cross-references, and running footers.
- Build clean server-side file management routes to handle inbound/outbound files safely via AWS S3 infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize rendering resource consumption profiles to prevent out-of-memory container crashes under high loads.
Required Technical Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a BS/MS program in Software Engineering, DevOps, or a related structural discipline.
- Solid scripting and backend programming fundamentals using Node.js or Python environments.
- Advanced expertise in CSS Paged Media standards, print formatting templates, and containerized pipeline deployments.
