Media Editor Part Time
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Part-Time Media Editor to manage and produce high-quality content for our WeChat Official Account and email newsletters. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer with strong editing skills, an eye for layout and design, and a passion for storytelling and content marketing.
Responsibilities
- Plan, write, edit, format, and publish content for the company's WeChat Official Account.
- Prepare, edit, and distribute regular email newsletters.
- Create original and engaging content related to education, student success stories, events, and company updates.
- Research industry trends and relevant topics to support content planning.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns and promotional content.
- Maintain consistent brand voice, writing quality, and visual presentation across all publications.
- Monitor content performance and recommend improvements based on engagement metrics.
- Assist with other content marketing and editorial projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English, Education, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in both Chinese and English.
- Experience managing WeChat Official Accounts and content publishing platforms.
- Familiarity with newsletter platforms such as Mailchimp preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with good visual and editorial judgment.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines independently.
- Able to commit to a consistent part-time schedule.
