Account Manager

POSH · Dallas–Fort Worth, TX · Full-time, on-site

POSH puts people in cars on a subscription instead of a loan. Every month, money moves in from subscribers and out to the partners who own the vehicles, and an Account Manager is accountable for every dollar on both sides being right.

This is account management as a discipline, not a desk. You will carry a named book of Fleet Partners and subscribers, and you will know it better than anyone else in the company. No surprises reach your partners. No invoice on your book ages quietly. When the numbers disagree, you find out why before anyone has to ask you.

We are looking for people who take that personally.

Responsibilities

Own a book of Fleet Partners end to end — every vehicle, every VIN, every dollar owed, every dollar paid.

Reconcile partner payments monthly. Find the variance, trace it to its cause, and report it the same week.

Own a named book of subscribers. Work it on a published cadence, not on whichever account is loudest.

Recover unpaid balances by phone. Leave every call with an amount, a date and a method, or with the reason there isn't one.

Build payment plans inside approved parameters and hold subscribers to them.

Run swaps, tier changes and upgrades. Keep the subscribers worth keeping.

Be the single point of contact your accounts call, and answer before they escalate.

Document every conversation, promise and variance in-system the day it happens.

Escalate anything that changes what a partner is paid, anything outside your parameters, and anything that sounds like a complaint.

Report weekly on what moved, what didn't, and what needs a decision.

Basic qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any discipline, or equivalent experience.

Demonstrated ownership of a customer, account, book, budget or ledger where you were the person answerable for the number.

Working fluency with spreadsheets: reconcile two lists and explain the difference.

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Able to work on-site in Dallas–Fort Worth.

Preferred skills and experience

Experience holding direct conversations about money owed — collections, billing, AR, banking, dealership finance, front desk, restaurant close.

Experience as the named owner of a client relationship rather than a queue.

Track record of catching an error before the customer did.

Coursework or work in accounting, finance, operations or analytics.

Spanish.

Comfort in an environment where the process is written after the work, not before it.

Additional requirements

On-site in Dallas–Fort Worth. This role is in the room and near the fleet.

Occasional extended hours at month-end when payment cycles close.

Must be able to operate fleet vehicles.

Offers are contingent on a background check and a driving-record check. No exceptions.

Compensation and benefits

$52,000–$65,000 base, depending on demonstrated ownership, plus a quarterly performance component paid on cleared payments recovered and on partner reconciliations completed accurately and on time.

POSH is building its collections and partner operations functions this year. The person who does this job well is the internal candidate to lead one of them.

Hiring process

Five stages, twelve business days from application to offer: application review, a 20-minute phone conversation, a 60-minute on-site working session on real redacted POSH data, two reference calls, and a same-day offer. You will meet the founder at every stage after the first.

POSHIT INC is an equal opportunity employer.
