Supply Chain Management Intern

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Management Intern to support our logistics, procurement, inventory, and supply chain operations. This position provides hands-on experience in a professional business environment while allowing the intern to develop skills in data analysis, process improvement, inventory management, and cross-functional communication.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, eager to learn, and comfortable working with data and administrative systems. This role is a great opportunity for a student interested in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day supply chain, logistics, and inventory operations.

Analyze and maintain supply chain data and reports.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist with identifying trends or discrepancies.

Assist with inventory tracking and reconciliation.

Support procurement activities and supplier communications.

Assist with updating and maintaining information in ERP and other business systems.

Help identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and streamline processes.

Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and other documentation as needed.

Collaborate with departments across the organization to support smooth material and information flow.

Perform administrative and organizational tasks related to supply chain operations.

Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling company information.

Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably studying Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to learn new software, systems, and processes.

Reliable means of transportation is required.

Professional, dependable, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience with Excel, ERP systems, inventory management, logistics, procurement, or data analysis.

Experience working with spreadsheets, reports, or KPIs.

Interest in pursuing a career in supply chain, operations, procurement, or business management.
