What You'll Do

• Coordinate and manage student IEPs
• Provide instructional support in small group and 1:1 settings
• Adapt curriculum to meet individual student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Support students in achieving academic and developmental goals
• Travel to one or a few assigned school sites, with efforts made to keep assignments close to your location

Qualifications

• Valid California Education Specialist Credential (Mild/Moderate: R3MM, R3MN, R3BM, R3BE or Moderate/Severe: R3MS)
• Autism Authorization (AAAS or R3MS)
• English Learner (EL) Authorization
• Minimum 1 year of experience teaching students with special needs in both general and special education settings
• Minimum 1 year of experience coordinating and writing IEPs
