What You’ll Be Doing: Joining a Political Action Committee 

As a research manager intern, you will lead research efforts on policy issues, legislation, and political trends. As an intern for a non-profit, you will be guiding a small team to produce high-quality analysis that informs strategy, messaging, and advocacy efforts. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Oversee in-depth research and analysis of policy issues, proposed legislation, and regulatory developments 

Develop policy briefs, proposals, and talking points, presenting findings and recommendations to leadership 

Track legislative activity, votes, and political developments 

Manage research files, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery across the team 

Mentor and coordinate the work of research interns supporting policy research 

Qualifications: 

Strong research, writing, and analytical skills 

Familiarity with the U.S. legislative system 

Demonstrated ability to lead or coordinate the work of others 

Interest in public policy, research, and political advocacy  

Coursework in political systems, economics, advocacy, and data analysis
