Business Leadership, Growth & Marketing Intern
Business Leadership, Growth & Marketing Intern
About OMIRA
OMIRA is a portfolio operating company that builds, owns, and scales more than 20 businesses across services, technology, marketing, staffing, consumer brands, software, and real estate.
We are hiring ambitious students who want to develop into capable business leaders—not simply complete basic internship assignments.
This role combines leadership, business development, company operations, marketing, and modern digital strategy. Interns will gain exposure to how businesses are launched, managed, marketed, and scaled while working directly with OMIRA leadership across multiple active companies.
The modern business world rewards people who can lead others, understand how companies grow, communicate effectively, and use technology to execute quickly. This internship is designed to develop those abilities through real responsibility—not classroom exercises or simulated projects.
You may help lead a team, coordinate an important project, support the growth of a business, improve an internal system, organize a marketing initiative, develop a partnership, or help manage one of OMIRA’s companies.
We are looking for people who want responsibility and are prepared to earn greater opportunities through their performance.
What Leadership Means at OMIRA
Leadership is not based on age, seniority, or an impressive resume.
It means taking ownership, communicating clearly, solving problems, following through, holding yourself and others accountable, and making sure progress happens.
You do not need previous management experience.
The strongest interns will be able to enter a fast-moving environment, understand the objective, organize the necessary people and information, and help move the project toward completion.
As you prove yourself, you may earn responsibility for larger projects, teams, departments, or individual OMIRA businesses.
Responsibilities
Depending on your skills, interests, and performance, you may:
• Help lead and coordinate interns, contractors, team members, and internal projects
• Take ownership of assigned initiatives from planning through completion
• Communicate priorities, responsibilities, deadlines, and expectations
• Follow up with team members and help ensure work is completed
• Assist with business development, lead generation, sales outreach, and partnerships
• Support the launch and growth of new companies, products, and services
• Conduct market, competitor, customer, and industry research
• Help organize CRM systems, pipelines, business data, and performance metrics
• Identify operational problems and recommend practical solutions
• Build and improve internal systems, workflows, trackers, and standard operating procedures
• Help turn leadership ideas into organized execution plans
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and team development
• Coordinate projects across operations, sales, marketing, content, and technology
• Provide leadership with clear updates on progress, problems, and results
• Help manage the day-to-day priorities of an OMIRA business
• Take increasing ownership as your judgment, reliability, and execution improve
Marketing, Content and Digital Growth
Modern leaders must understand how businesses communicate, build attention, and reach customers online.
Interns may also help manage social media pages, organize content calendars, develop campaigns, research trends, create advertisements, edit short-form videos, write content, analyze performance, and strengthen the positioning of OMIRA’s brands.
We need creative people who understand how consumers use social media today. You should be comfortable using your phone as a professional tool for communication, research, content creation, collaboration, and execution.
Creating on-camera content is welcome but not required. We also need people who can work behind the scenes to develop concepts, edit content, manage accounts, coordinate creators, build campaigns, and ensure content is consistently completed and published.
OMIRA actively encourages the responsible use of ChatGPT, AI automation, and modern digital tools. We want people who can use technology to work faster, communicate better, generate ideas, improve systems, and solve real business problems.
Ideal Candidate
You may be a strong fit if you are:
• Interested in leadership, entrepreneurship, business development, operations, marketing, or company growth
• Ambitious and interested in earning meaningful responsibility
• Creative, resourceful, and aware of current digital and social media trends
• A strong communicator who is comfortable working with different personalities
• Able to organize multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines
• Willing to take initiative without waiting for constant instructions
• Comfortable making reasonable decisions with the information available
• Able to receive direct feedback, make adjustments, and improve quickly
• Reliable, responsive, and consistent about following through
• Comfortable using your phone, social media, AI, and digital platforms professionally
• Interested in helping build and operate real businesses
• Willing to speak up, ask questions, and address problems directly
• Motivated by long-term growth rather than only receiving an internship title
No previous professional experience is required.
Leadership and business skills may come from employment, school organizations, sports, clubs, volunteer work, personal projects, content creation, freelancing, entrepreneurship, or other experiences.
We care more about your work ethic, judgment, communication, creativity, ownership, and ability to execute than the number of years listed on your resume.
This Role Is Not a Fit for Someone Who
• Needs constant reminders to complete responsibilities
• Waits for detailed instructions before taking any action
• Avoids responsibility or difficult conversations
• Communicates inconsistently or regularly misses deadlines
• Makes excuses instead of solving problems
• Is unwilling to learn new platforms or use AI tools
• Wants a leadership title without leadership responsibility
• Only wants another line to add to their resume
• Expects advancement without first producing results
Tools and Platforms
Depending on your assigned projects, you may gain experience with:
• ChatGPT and AI automation tools
• CRM systems
• Canva and CapCut
• Shopify
• Social media and content-management platforms
• Website, analytics, automation, and project-management systems
Applicants are not expected to understand every platform before starting.
What You’ll Gain
• Hands-on experience across more than 20 active businesses
• Real leadership, business development, operations, and marketing experience
• Direct access to OMIRA founders, operators, and company leadership
• Experience leading projects, coordinating people, and managing deadlines
• Exposure to multiple industries, business models, and growth strategies
• Experience using AI and modern digital tools in real business environments
• Opportunities to build meaningful work for your professional portfolio
• A practical understanding of how companies are built, operated, and scaled
• The opportunity to earn responsibility for a team, department, or business
• Potential advancement into paid employment and long-term leadership opportunities
Long-Term Growth Opportunity
This is a fully remote, flexible, unpaid internship to start—but it is not designed to remain that way for top performers.
People inside OMIRA have started with small, entry-level responsibilities and advanced into major leadership and ownership roles by consistently working hard, taking ownership, solving problems, and creating measurable value.
Interns who demonstrate those qualities may have opportunities to advance into part-time payroll, full-time payroll, Team Lead, Project Manager, Operations Manager, Marketing Director, Business Development Manager, Managing Director, or Business Operator positions.
Exceptional long-term contributors may also be considered for equity or ownership opportunities within OMIRA businesses or real estate ventures.
Advancement is not guaranteed. It must be earned through performance, consistency, leadership, and measurable results.

• Part-time
• Fully remote

• Potential academic credit where approved by the student’s college or university
