Account Manager Intern 1
About POSH
POSH is a luxury vehicle subscription company built on a simple idea: people should be able to access premium vehicles without the long-term commitment, depreciation risk, or paperwork of ownership or a traditional lease. Members subscribe to a vehicle tier and get flexibility that a dealership or leasing company can't offer.
Behind our customer-facing subscription model is our Fleet Partner program, where individuals and businesses supply vehicles into our fleet in exchange for consistent returns. Managing both sides of this, the customer relationship and the fleet partner relationship, is what keeps POSH running.
We're a small, fast-moving team, which means interns here get real responsibility, not busywork.
About the Role
POSH is hiring an Account Manager Intern for fall 2026 with potential extension based on performance and business needs. This role sits at the intersection of customer success and fleet partner management.
Once a customer signs on with POSH, this person becomes their main point of contact. They'll manage the relationship through the life of the subscription, handle questions and issues, and make sure the customer has a good experience that leads to retention.
On the other side, this person will also manage relationships with our Fleet Partners. Fleet Partners are the backbone of our fleet, and keeping them informed, satisfied, and issue-free is critical to our supply chain.
This is not a shadowing role. The intern will own a portfolio of accounts and partners and be expected to run point on them independently, with support from the team.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Acting as the main point of contact for customers after the sale, through onboarding, active subscription, renewals, and any issues that come up
- Owning customer success metrics, including satisfaction, retention, payments and timely resolution of complaints
- Managing day-to-day communication with Fleet Partners, including status updates, issue resolution, and answering questions about vehicle performance or payments
- Maintaining accurate and organized records of every account and partner interaction
- Building recurring reports on account health, customer status, and partner activity for leadership review
- Spotting patterns, whether it's a customer segment showing early churn signs or a partner with recurring vehicle issues, and escalating them before they become bigger problems
- Working cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Billing, and Fleet teams to resolve issues that touch more than one department
- Supporting process improvements for how customer and partner accounts are tracked and managed
- Helping maintain dashboards or reporting tools that track key account and partner metrics
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree, any major
- Prior experience in sales, account management, customer success, or a similar client-facing role is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication, this role is customer-facing and requires professionalism
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data to identify trends and inform decisions
- High attention to detail. Small errors in account records or reporting can have real downstream consequences
- A strong sense of ownership. This is not a role where you wait to be told what to do
- Proficiency in Excel, including comfort with formulas and organizing data. Experience with dashboards or reporting tools is a plus
- Strong time management and the ability to juggle multiple accounts and partners at once
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, small-team environment where responsibilities can shift
What You'll Gain
- Direct ownership over real customer and partner relationships from your first weeks, not simulated projects
- Exposure to both sides of the business, sales-adjacent customer success and operational fleet partner management
- Hands-on experience with reporting and data management that informs real business decisions
- Close mentorship from a lean team where your work is visible and has direct impact
- A strong foundation for a career in account management, customer success, or operations
