Who We Are
GoSkyHy is the social travel platform where travelers connect, create groups, and book unique adventures around the world. We help people find hidden gems, join travel crews, and turn "someday" trips into this-weekend plans. We're growing fast — and college campuses are our next frontier. You're going to lead the charge on yours.
The Gig
You'll own the GoSkyHy launch at your school, end to end. This is the closest thing to running your own startup without quitting college.
Scope the opportunity. Map your campus: which clubs travel, where students find weekend plans, what the competition looks like, and what would make GoSkyHy spread. Real market research with a real market.
Build the launch plan. Set signup targets, pick channels, plan events and partnerships — then pitch your plan directly to the founding team. This is go-to-market strategy you actually get to execute, not just put in a deck.
Run the launch. Partner with travel and outdoor clubs, run giveaway tables, get your friends planning their first group trip on the app — and track what's working with real numbers. Your campus playbook becomes the template we use to launch everywhere else.
You Might Be Our Person If...
You're the person who organizes the friend-group trip, the fundraiser, and the intramural team — sometimes in the same week. You like a scoreboard. You're studying business, marketing, economics, entrepreneurship — or none of the above, because hustle beats major every time. Bonus points if you've ever grown a club, a group chat, or anything else from small to big.
The Pay
$1,337 every month. Yes, really. A flat monthly rate, the same whether you're in Texas, London, Sydney, or Singapore — at roughly 10 hours a week, that's over $30/hour. For context: the average US marketing internship pays $17.66/hour. We pay elite rates because we expect elite work.
Launch bonuses. Your campus launch has targets — signups, partnerships, events. Hit them and earn cash bonuses on top of your monthly rate. You keep the scoreboard; we pay out the wins.
A raise for coming back. Crush your first semester and return for a second? Your monthly rate goes up. And you level up from launching a campus to launching a city.
Paid monthly, on time, every time. Real payments, real records — this is a job, not a favor.
Based on approximately 10 hours per week. Hours are agreed and tracked so your effective hourly rate always exceeds your local minimum wage.
What You Get (a.k.a. Why This Beats a Boring Internship)
A launch you can point to. "I built and executed the go-to-market launch for a travel startup at my university" — with the numbers to prove it. That's a case-study interview answer, ready to go.
Real ownership. Your campus, your plan, your targets. Most interns at big companies spend a semester formatting slides. You'll be running an actual launch and watching real users show up because of decisions you made.
Direct access to founders. Weekly strategy sessions with the GoSkyHy team — learn how a startup grows from the people growing it. Your research and playbook go straight to the people making decisions.
Academic credit. Want course credit on top of the paycheck? It's your responsibility to arrange it with your university — every school's process is different — but once you do, we'll gladly complete any employer paperwork, evaluations, or supervisor sign-offs your program requires.
A recommendation letter from the CEO. Crush it, and you'll have a personalized letter — and a reference who picks up the phone when recruiters call.
A title that works for you. "Growth & Campus Launch Intern, GoSkyHy" on your LinkedIn and resume from day one.
First shot at paid roles. As GoSkyHy grows, our intern alumni are first in line.
The Fine Print
This is a part-time, paid internship designed around your learning: you'll set goals with us, get mentorship and feedback, and build a portfolio — all on a schedule that flexes around exams. One semester, with the option to continue.
